HSC Result 2024 Date
For a long time, students have been eagerly asking, "When will the HSC Result 2024 be published?" Finally, the answer is here. The Ministry of Education has officially announced that the HSC and equivalent exam results will be released on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. On this day, the results for the Dhaka, Comilla, Chittagong, Barisal, Dinajpur, Jessore, Sylhet, Rajshahi, and Mymensingh education boards will be published simultaneously. Additionally, the Alim Result 2024 for the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and the HSC Vocational Result 2024 for the Bangladesh Technical Education Board will be released on the same date.
The education boards have also confirmed the time of the result announcement. According to their statement, students will be able to access their results starting at 11:00 AM.
Earlier, the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education had indicated that the results would be published in mid-October. The Ministry of Education then submitted a proposal to the government seeking permission to release the results between October 15 and 17. The government granted approval for October 15.
Unlike previous years, where the Prime Minister officially announced the results, this year the Chief Advisor will not make the announcement. Instead, the chairpersons of the individual education boards will release the results and brief the media about them.
Result Preparation Method
The 2024 HSC and equivalent examinations were not fully completed due to disruptions caused by floods and student protests in various regions. After a few exams were held, the remaining exams were canceled. This raised concerns about how the final results would be calculated.
It was later decided that the results for the subjects in which exams were held would be based on the marks students obtained in those exams. For subjects where no exams were conducted, the results will be determined through subject mapping. This method involves using students' performance in their SSC and equivalent exams to estimate the results for the unfinished subjects.
